Program Information

Three identical programs are being offered, sponsored by California Polytechnic State University and World-Wide Sires, Inc. Each course will offer seven days of classroom and laboratory dairy training and practical experience at the Cal Poly Dairy, as well as a tour of California dairies.

Programs will start on a Monday morning and end 12 days later on Friday evening. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from San Luis Obispo, and will be met at the train or bus station or airport on Sunday, and transported back at the end of the program on Saturday – on the condition that they have provided their arrival time and place in advance. Courses are limited to 30 students on a first-come basis and are taught in English only. Please mail or fax the information requested below with your payment as soon as possible to ensure your space.

The fee for the course is $1,650, which includes all program costs as well as parking and housing. Housing will be in an off-campus hotel. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the campus daily. Meals are included, starting with breakfast on the first Monday and ending with dinner on the last Friday.

A deposit of $300 must be received 60 days prior to the selected program. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the program. There will be a $25 administrative fee for processing refunds. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND ON THE $300 DEPOSIT
