Leanne M. Berning, Ph.D.
Dr. Berning's areas of specialization include milk secretion and mastitis, as well as computer applications to communications and management. Her research interests focus on the immune response of the mammary gland to mastitis pathogens. Additionally, she is interested in analyzing milking practices and teat disinfectants that may lead to reduced incidence of mastitis and reduction of antibiotic use in the dairy operation. Her hobbies include traveling, basketball, and horses. Education
